So how does a faculty member get started in study abroad?

First, determine when you want to lead your program.

Second, explore all your options.

> WKU programs - partner with another WKU faculty member to co-lead a program, so you can learn the ropes.

> Partner Institutions - learn about WKU's exchange partners with which you could arrange for a semester-long teaching/research program

> Consortium - learn about WKU's membership and how you can become part of it

> Providers - many of the student program providers also offer faculty support to develop and manage studyabroad program.

> Semester at Sea - learn about the special May term voyage on which you could lead a program

> Harlaxton - Contact WKU Honor College to learn how you can teach for a semester (Application)

Third, make the commitment to do this!
