Orientation

The International Student and Scholar Services will host an Orientation at the beginning of each semester. All incoming international students (including J-1 students) should attend this Orientation. We will have break-out sessions for J-1 visa holders like you, where your specific needs as Exchange Visitors will be addressed. The Orientation will also provide you with a chance to meet the Study Abroad and Global Learning (SAGL) and International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) staff. The Orientation and many of its components are MANDATORY for J-1 students. You will receive a more detailed schedule before arriving.

You can arrive to campus after August 15th. Please inform Abby Leake of your arrival plans and flight itinerary. Students who are living on campus will need to have their student id number available for check-in. Students who have chosen to live off-campus are responsible for working with their private housing organization to schedule check-in.
