Study Abroad Ambassador Program
*Accepting Applications for Fall 2012 Now
The WKU Study Abroad Ambassador Program provides you with the opportunity to “spread the word” by sharing your international experience with students who are thinking about studying abroad. As a study abroad alumnus you can make an important contribution to SAGL’s efforts to promote study abroad on campus and to inspire students to think about spending some time overseas.
Whether it is speaking to prospective students, giving a presentation, leading a discussion or simply talking about study abroad with your friends, classmates and peers, your help will be invaluable to SAGL.
What are the qualities that we look for in a Study Abroad Ambassador? Enthusiasm, experience studying abroad, good communication skills, motivation, initiative and a willingness to work as part of a team. If you have these qualities and are interested in serving as a Study Abroad Ambassador, please (apply here).
Since SAGL will rely heavily on contributions made by Study Abroad Ambassadors, the following requirements must be met for consideration:
- Minimum GPA: 2.50
- Experience studying abroad
- Good communication skills
- Interest in promoting the country of study
