HIGHLIGHTS:

- Unseasonably warm high temperatures will persist

- Decent chance for scattered showers and storms through Saturday

DISCUSSION:

A weak ridge will be in place through Sunday, but this ridge will allow the development of convective showers and occasional thunderstorms. There is a 50% chance for rain and scattered storms Thursday through Saturday. Moisture and instability will both increase during this time. On Thursday, skies will be partly sunny early, but with increasing clouds later in the day. Highs will be in the upper 70s. The Thursday night low will be in the upper 50s under mostly cloudy skies. High temperatures on Friday and Saturday will be around 80, with skies clearing somewhat on Saturday. Lows will remain constant in the upper 50s. The chance for convective showers and storms gradually falls to zero by Sunday evening. Sunday will be partly sunny with highs in the lower 80s. Sunday night will be mostly cloudy with lows in the mid 50s.
