WKU Fencing Club
At practice, members work on their skills in epee and foil with the guidance of their instructor, Daniel Faller. Many club members compete in competitions around the state as well as surrounding states. However, competing is not a requirement. Some members enjoy learning and practicing their techniques without competing. Therefore, if you are looking to to be competitive or just looking to learn a new and unique sport, the Fencing Club may be the perfect fit for you.
Last Spring, the club hosted the "Big Red Open" which consisted of 40 participants competing in both epee and foil. The club is scheduled to host the "2014 Derby Open" which is a state fencing tourament. This event is scheduled for April 26, 2014 at the Preston Center.
All WKU students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join the club. No experience necessary! If you are interested in joining the Badminton Club, please see the information to the right addressing club contacts and practices.
