Catherine Gay is a senior with a major in Civil Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. She is from Evansville, Indiana, and she is serving her first year as a Spirit Master. She has received many scholarships and awards including a WKU Regents Scholarship, an American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Kentucky Chapter Scholarship, a Service One Credit Union Scholarship, and the President's and Dean's Lists. She is involved with ASCE, Society of Women Engineers, Christian Student Fellowship, and the WKU Engineering Honors Society. She serves as the Vice President for the WKU Chapter of ASCE and President of the WKU Engineering Honors Society. She has also been a member of the WKU Concrete Canoe Team including the 2006 team Topper Chopper that placed 8th in the nation and the 2007 team Rocked Out that placed 4th in the nation.
