Co-occurring disorders is the term for experiencing two conditions at once (ex. substance use disorder and a mentalhealth condition). Healthcare professional trainings and systems have historically not fostered combined treatment, making it challenging for this population to feel that they are receiving quality care. This training will provide you with the skills to address co-occurring disorders, integrated treatment, and improve client outcomes.
