Mock Interviews

Mock Interviews

Most professional schools such as medical, dental, pharmacy, physical therapy, and veterinary schools require personal interviews as part of the application process. In fact, an invitation for a personal interview is good news but it can be very stressful. If you receive an invitation for a personal interview, this means you are qualified to be admitted. The personal interview is your opportunity to prove to the admissions committee you belong in their school.

Most students do not have much experience with personal interviews. The South Central AHEC offers mock interviews to help students understand the interview process and provide experience in an interview format.

You should allow 2 hours for a mock interview and you should not schedule a mock interview until you have been invited for an interview. Appropriate clothing will be discussed for your interview but it is not necessary to wear appropriate clothing for the mock interview.

If you would like to schedule a mock interview, please contact Lucy Juett, Director, South Central AHEC at 745-3325 or preferably by e-mail to Lucy Juett.
