International Reach

Kyle Chettleburgh -- South Africa

My name is Kyle Chettleburgh, and I am an International Student from Durban, South Africa. I arrived here at WKU in the Fall of 2008 and enrolled in the Sport Management Program within the Kinesiology, Recreation, and Sport department. After completing my undergraduate degree, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to enroll in the Recreation & Sport Administration Program and begin working on my graduate degree. My time here at WKU has been tremendous, and I am truly grateful for everything this fine institution has provided me. My academic experience within the Sport Management and Recreation & Sport Administration programs has been nothing but spectacular, thanks to the instructors and professors who took the time to form a relationship with me and educate me along the way.

Kristina Volfova -- Czech Republic

My name is Kristina Volfová, and I am from Prague, Czech Republic. WKU offered me a track and field scholarship, which allowed me the great opportunity to come to the USA. After my eligibility as an athlete ran out, I was given the opportunity to be an assistant coach with the WKU track and field team. As sports are clearly near and dear to me, the Master's program in Recreation and Sport Administration was exactly what I was looking for. During my time in the program I have gained a great amount of insight and knowledge of the sport field that I hope to be able to apply in the future in my own country.

Aishah Alwahaib -- Kuwait

My name is Aishah Alwahaib, and I am from Kuwait. I chose WKU because of its good reputation and the safe living conditions. I have found that WKU does an excellent job teaching and encouraging students to do their best by providing students with many unique opportunities to gain experience in their field. Together, WKU and its staff focus on developing students' skill and preparing them for their future.
