Ms. Lindsey Gilmore
Coordinator for Retention Applications and Outreach

Lindsey Gilmore was appointed as the Coordinator for Retention Applications and Outreach in February of 2013, and is responsible for providing leadership and oversight in marketing, developing, and administering retention initiatives. In particular, she works with multiple campus partners on increasing the usage and effectiveness of MAP-Works program, providing training and ongoing support for both new and experienced users of the powerful application. Ms. Gilmore is currently examining retention data to create new targeted intervention programs for student populations who are at risk of leaving WKU.
Prior to accepting this position, she served as a Coordinator in the department of Housing and Residence Life at WKU. Ms. Gilmore holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis on Counseling and Student Affairs from WKU. She is also currently seeking a Master of Public Administration degree from WKU which she plans to finish in December of 2013.
Between her professional experience and academic career, Ms. Gilmore has been an active member of the WKU community for over six years; she began teaching University Experience courses in 2010, is the current Faculty and Property Advisor for the Theta Iota Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta, and has represented herself and WKU through multiple presentations at state, regional, and national conferences.
