Parking information for test-takers

Parking on the WKU campus is a challenge. You will need to give yourself plenty of time to get a visitor parking pass and find a parking spot.

To obtain a visitor parking pass go to the Office of Parking and Transportation located about a mile south of the main campus at 578 Campbell Lane. Temporary passes are good for one day only. The cost is $2 for WKU students and free for non-WKU student visitors.

The one day pass allows you to park in any spot EXCEPT gated, handicapped, or metered parking spaces. If you are unable to find parking near the Garrett Conference Center your one day pass will allow you to park in the Parking Structures located at the bottom of the hill. The WKU inner-loop shuttle bus picks up in front of the structures every 10 to 15 minutes and brings people to the top of the hill.

Parking meters on the WKU campus have a 45 minute maximum time allotment.

If your test is going to take 45 minutes or less you may park in the metered spaces along the front of the Wetherby Administration Building or in the Old Fort parking lot next to the Garrett Conference Center. If your test is going to be longer than 45 minutes you must get a one day pass from the Parking and Transporation Office.

If you have any questions or concerns about parking on the WKU campus you may contact the Parking and Transportation Office at 745-2361.
