Volunteering
In trying to understand human visual and haptic perception, and in determining the extent to which perceptual processes are affected by increasing age, our laboratory needs a continuous supply of volunteers. We are very grateful for the generous contributions of our laboratory participants; they freely and willingly donate their time and efforts to help us better understand the capabilities of human observers to perceive the 3-dimensional shape of environmental objects.
If you are 60 years of age or older and would like to assist us, we would very much welcome and appreciate your help. We can provide a parking space for you here at the University next to our building (see the parking directions on the "Contact Us" page) to make your visit easier.
If you have generally good vision (glasses or contacts are fine, bifocals, trifocals, etc.), and do not have macular degeneration, glaucoma, significant cataracts, or other obvious eye disorders, please send an email to Dr. Farley Norman (Farley.Norman@wku.edu) to volunteer.
Thanks in advance for the help!
