SEVERE WEATHER WARNING UPDATES

The Bowling Green and Warren County Emergency Management Agency and Western Kentucky University maintains 26 Community Outdoor Warning System (COWS) units to alert citizens of threatening weather. In the event of a tornado warning or other emergency, these warning devices are activated. In addition to the COWS warning, W.K.U. Police will initiate a pyramid telephone warning system. Each of these contacts will then initiate a pyramid to notify their respective areas.
