Delta Phi Alpha
Delta Phi Alpha is a national honorary for students of German. Membership is by invitation and is based on scholarly achievement in the student's German courses and in the remainder of his or her coursework. The Epsilon Upsilon chapterr of Delta Phi Alpha was founded at Western Kentucky Universityin 1964.
The Spanish Club is open to any Western Kentucky University student interested in the Spanish language and Hispanic culture. The club provides several social opportunities in which students can practice speaking Spanish, such as fiestas and cultural dance lessons. It also provides opportunities to interact with the local Hispanic community. Weekly, many members hone their language skills and help the community by teaching English as a Second language classes. In addition, the Spanish Club is highly involved with community service activities targeted at the Hispanic community, such as item drives for needy families, health clinics, the Mexican Consulate's arrival to Bowling Green in November of 2004, and assisting the La Esperanza: The Hispanic Resource Center. The Spanish Club also encourages cultural understanding and educates its members and others through cultural activities and by participating in Bowling Green's annual International Festival downtown.

International Club mission is to provide support services for international students at Western Kentucky University. To enrich the WKU campus and Bowling Green community with international diversity by organizing, conducting, and participating in educational, cultural activities and programs that provide multicultural understanding .
