In addition to these departmental awards, every fall Potter College awards full tuition scholarships to 10 alumni of the Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts who have decided to attend WKU to further their study of the arts. These are very competitive scholarships, awarded on artistic/academic merit to incoming WKU Art, Music and Creative Writing majors, as well as Theatre and Dance majors.  In order to be eligible to apply for one of these scholarships, you must first apply for and be accepted as a WKU student.  These are annual, renewable full tuition scholarships, meaning that if you do land one of them you need to keep your GPA up to retain it from one year to the next.  If you would like more information and/or an application, please get in touch with Rita McGuire in the Potter College Dean's office via email at rita.mcguire@wku.edu  or by phone @ 270-745-2345.

And finally, the University awards several academic and need-based scholarships.  For information about those you should contact our admissions office scholarship division at (270) 745-5422, or via the web at http://www.wku.edu/Info/Admissions/ You should also contact them for up to date information about tuition and other costs.
