Auditorium Information

The School of Journalism & Broadcasting Auditorium located in the Mass Media & Technology Hall seats 275 and is available for University events when not in use by the School of Journalism & Broadcasting.

' The auditorium is not available at the following times:

Monday 5:30 pm - 12 midnight Fall/Spring semester
Tuesday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm Fall/Spring semester
Thursday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm Fall/Spring semester
Thursday 5:30 pm - 12 midnight Year round

' Reservations are taken on a first come first serve basis. We suggest one month advance notice. No reservations may be made earlier than eight weeks before an event.

' If you request the use of presentation equipment in the auditorium, it is your responsibility to set up a practice session with our technician at least 48 hours before your presentation date. Call (270)745-4144

' No food or drink is allowed in the auditorium.

 ' Reservations and set-up for tables & chairs are not the responsibility of the School of Journalism & Broadcasting.  

' Furniture must be broken down and moved to the stairwells after each event by the host department of the event.

' The host department will be inter-account billed if the School of J&B has to ask facilities management to break down your set-up.

' Nothing may be mounted on the walls in the auditorium or in the lobby. Cost of damage for repairs will be inter-department billed.

' The department using the auditorium must make arrangements with Facilities Management to clean the auditorium and lobby area after the event. Fees are the responsibility of the department reserving the auditorium.
