Foreign Language Festival

Every year, the Modern Languages Program hostes the annual Foreign Language Festival for regional language students and their teachers on April. Over 800 students attend and participate in a variety of activities, including poetry declamation, choir competitions, proficiency testing, and art work contests. Western contributes over $2000 in tuition scholarships to winners, as well as various other prizes.

We invite you to volunteer! March hundreds of Kentucky high school students and teachers will come to WKU to compete in language contests and to participate in language activities.  Practice your language skills by serving as a volunteer.
