Xposure Journalism Workshop June 9-17

For 28 years, high school students from throughout Kentucky and the region have come to learn and do journalism at Western Kentucky University's Journalism Workshop. These students have shown an interest in journalism and came to the workshops with backgrounds under-represented in U.S. newsrooms. Some lacked the financial resources to attend journalism workshops. The 2012 Xposure High School Journalism Workshop hosted by the School of Journalism & Broadcasting at WKU will continue that tradition. The alumni of these workshops fill newsrooms throughout the country, helping to ensure that the news gatherers at media outlets mirror the diverse communities they serve.
