Courses
Faculty in the Anthropology Program offer a diverse range of courses, including introductory courses in all four anthropology subdisciplines. Upper-level courses provide opportunities for students to study anthropological methods, theories, and content in cultural anthropology, visual anthropolog, biological anthropology, archaeology, and cultural resource management. Anthropology courses typically combine lecture with experiential learning experiences, such as laboratory assignments, field exercises, class discussions, writing assignments, and research projects. The anthropology curriculum also includes opportunities for independent student learning, including lab practica and directed studies.
