Combine PADs exercises with those from your class text in a full-service web-based homework system.

What is WebAssign?

WebAssign (http://webassign.net) is a full service, commercial web-based homework system that works with all text book publishers.

How do I find PADs exercises in WebAssign?

First, you can add the exercise collection Bonham, "PADs" 1st ed. along with selecting other textbooks to those being used in the class. Secondly, you can search for exercises whose name begins with "PAD". Then simply add exercises as you see fit. The exercises follow a consistent naming scheme that you may find helpful searching for exercises.

Tips:

  • Limit the number of applets present on any one page by breaking assignments into multiple parts or delivering questions one at a time. My rule of thumb is no more than half a dozen PADs on any one page. These applets can be fairly memory intensive when running, and having a large number on the page at once can tax the memory of older computers and lead to crashes.
