SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AT WKU-OWENSBORO

1.  Owensboro Regional Campus Scholarship (4) $250 for Fall and $250 for Spring

Four annual scholarships are available to Western Kentucky University students who attend the Owensboro Regional Campus. Selection of recipients will be determined according to the following criteria:

  •  Student will be enrolled in WKU classes in Owensboro in at least six (6) semester hours each semester.
  • Student has a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 system.
  • Student has demonstrated outstanding citizenship qualities.
  •  Student has completed an application for the scholarship and written the required information statements, prior to the April 1 deadline.
  • The scholarship is $250 for the fall semester and renewable for $250 in the spring semester, pending successful completion of the fall semester.

2.  William Willis, Jr. and Georgia P. Willis WKU-O Scholarship (3) $250 for Fall and $250 for Spring

Three annual scholarships are available to Western Kentucky University students who attend the Owensboro Regional Campus. Selection of recipients will be determined according to the following criteria:

  •  Student will be enrolled in WKU classes in Owensboro (at least 6 hoursundergraduate or 6 hours graduate) during each semester.
  • Student has a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 system.
  • Student has demonstrated outstanding citizenship qualities.
  • Student has completed an application for the scholarship and written the requiredinformational statements, prior to April 1 deadline.
  • The scholarship is $250 for the fall semester and renewable for $250 in the springsemester, pending successful completion of the fall semester.

 3.  Owensboro Noon Optimist Club (1) $175 for Fall and $175 for Spring

One annual scholarship is available to Western Kentucky University students who attend the Owensboro Regional Campus. Selection of recipients will be determined according to the following criteria:

  •  Student will be enrolled in WKU classes in Owensboro in at least six (6) semester hours each semester.
  •  Student has 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 system.
  •  Student has demonstrated outstanding citizenship qualities.
  •  Student has completed an application for the scholarship and written the required informational statements prior to the April 1 deadline.
  •  The scholarship is $175 for the fall semester and renewable for $175 in the spring semester, pending successful completion of the fall semester.

 4.  PNC Bank Leadership Program Scholarship (up to 5) $250 for Fall and $250 for Spring

 The PNC Bank Leadership Program has been established to assist students in completing their educational goals. Attention will be given to business majors, especially business majors working toward careers in banking. However, all students in all disciplines are encouraged to apply, both graduates and undergraduates.

At least five annual scholarships are available to Western Kentucky University students who attend the Owensboro Regional Campus. Selection of recipients will be determined according to the following criteria:

  • Student will be enrolled in WKU classes in Owensboro in at least six (6) semester hours each semester.
  • Student has a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 system.
  •  Student has demonstrated outstanding citizenship qualities.
  •  Student has completed an application for the scholarship and written the required information statements, prior to the April 1 deadline.
  •  The scholarship is $250 for fall semester and renewable for $250 in the spring semester, pending successful completion of the fall semester.

5.  Owensboro Lions Club (2) $250 for Fall and $250 for Spring

One annual scholarship is available to Western Kentucky University students who attend the Owensboro Regional Campus. Selection of recipients will be determined according to the following criteria:

  • Student will be enrolled in WKU classes in Owensboro in at least six (6) semester hours each semester.
  • Student has 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 system.
  • Student has demonstrated outstanding citizenship qualities.
  • Student has completed an application for the scholarship and written the required informational statements prior to the April 1 deadline.
  • The scholarship is $250 for the fall semester and renewable for $250 in the spring semester, pending successful completion of the fall semester.
