SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AT WKU-OWENSBORO

 

1.  William Willis, Jr. and Georgia P. Willis WKU-O Scholarship (3) $250 for Fall and $250 for Spring

Three annual scholarships are available to Western Kentucky University students who attend the Owensboro Regional Campus. Selection of recipients will be determined according to the following criteria:

  •  Student will be enrolled in WKU classes in Owensboro (at least 6 hours undergraduate or 6 hours graduate) during each semester.
  • Student has a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 system.
  • Student has demonstrated outstanding citizenship qualities.
  • Student has completed an application for the scholarship and written the required informational statements, prior to April 1 deadline.
  • The scholarship is $250 for the fall semester and renewable for $250 in the spring semester, pending successful completion of the fall semester.

 2.  Owensboro Noon Optimist Club (1) $175 for Fall and $175 for Spring

One annual scholarship is available to Western Kentucky University students who attend the Owensboro Regional Campus. Selection of recipients will be determined according to the following criteria:

  •  Student will be enrolled in WKU classes in Owensboro in at least six (6) semester hours each semester.
  •  Student has 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 system.
  •  Student has demonstrated outstanding citizenship qualities.
  •  Student has completed an application for the scholarship and written the required informational statements prior to the April 1 deadline.
  •  The scholarship is $175 for the fall semester and renewable for $175 in the spring semester, pending successful completion of the fall semester.

3.  Owensboro Lions Club (2) $250 for Fall and $250 for Spring

One annual scholarship is available to Western Kentucky University students who attend the Owensboro Regional Campus. Selection of recipients will be determined according to the following criteria:

  • Student will be enrolled in WKU classes in Owensboro in at least six (6) semester hours each semester.
  • Student has 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 system.
  • Student has demonstrated outstanding citizenship qualities.
  • Student has completed an application for the scholarship and written the required informational statements prior to the April 1 deadline.
  • The scholarship is $250 for the fall semester and renewable for $250 in the spring semester, pending successful completion of the fall semester.
