Requests for an official transcript must be in writing to the Registrar’s office. Forms can be found in the Owensboro office or you can write a request. An online transcript request form is available through the WKU Registrar’s website. Payment, $4.00 per transcript, must accompany the requests. Be sure to include your name, social security number or Western ID, and the location where you want your transcripts sent. If paying by credit card, include the name on the card, the card number, the type of card, and the expiration date. Send your request to:
You can also request a transcript online.
Textbooks can be ordered from the University Bookstore. The Owensboro Campus does not carry textbooks. If you have a Visa or MasterCard (debit or credit), the bookstore will ship your textbooks to you. All you have to know is your course name, number, and the section number. Most, but not all, Owensboro courses have a section number 610. You can call the WKU campus bookstore at 1-800-444-5155.
Textbooks may also be purchased at the Owensboro Community and Technical College. The bookstore is located in the lower level of the Student Center.

Go to the WKU Homepage then click on the box that says quick links. Click on TopNet. Then click on log in. In big blue letters will be the words Lookup My WKU ID. Click on this link. Follow the onscreen directions. Be prepared to write because the ID only stays up for 30 seconds. Your pin number is the last six digits of your social security number. You will be prompted to change this as you continue the login process.
You can pay via credit card on TopNet. Go to the WKU Homepage and click on the box that says quick links. Click on TopNet. Then click on log in. Continue login. You can pay your bill at the Owensboro campus, but you must inform the Owensboro office that you want to make cash payment and give them necessary information (name, student ID, amount to be paid). The office will notify the Billings Office in Bowling Green. The Billings Office will suspend payment for 5 days only. During the 5 day suspension, you must purchase a cashier’s check or money order and mail it to the Billings Office on the main campus. They must receive payment within 5 days of the initial notice.
Scholarships are available for Owensboro Regional Campus students and the application forms can be printed from the WKU–Owensboro Scholarships webpage.
Final grades are obtained from TopNet. Grades are NOT mailed out. Go to the WKU Homepage then click on the box that says quick links. Click on TopNet. Then click on log in. Continue login. Go to student services and then student records. Click on final grades and then submit the term.
If you see "ivs" on the schedule, that means the course is broadcast on television via interactive television to our campus. Your instructor can see and hear you; however they are broadcasting from a different campus instead of being face–to–face with you. To speak to your instructor, you speak into a microphone. A camera then focuses in on you so that the instructor knows who is speaking. Students at all campuses where the class is being broadcast can also see and hear you.
Booklets for the Praxis series tests are in our office on the undergraduate bookshelf.
You can also register for tests on the internet at www.ets.org/praxis/. There are links on this site that will tell you what tests are required for the state of Kentucky. Once you go to that page, there will be a small teal colored link that says state requirements. Click on the link to find out which tests are required for your major. If registering online, it is helpful to have a praxis bulletin for reference to test center codes.
Call or email Neil Bradley to schedule an online or independent study test to be taken at the Owensboro campus. Phone: (270) 684-9797.
