OU Campus FAQs
As we migrate to OU Campus v10 there are several things you might wonder about. If you still have questions, please feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org.
- When will WKU switch to OU Campus v10?
September 16, 2014. On that day, there will be NO ACCESS to OU Campus. We anticipate the move taking the entire day. On September 17, 2014, you will be able to login to v10.
- Do I have to let anyone know when I am ready for my site to be in v10?
No, everyone will be automatically moved on September 16, 2014.
- Do I have to migrate my content or keep it synced between v9 and v10?
No! All your latest content from v9 should be ready and waiting in v10 on September 16, 2014. The changes you make in v10 will not be kept and will be overwritten by your content in v9 on go-live day.
- How do I login?
The method in which you use to login will not change. You will still be able to use your direct edit links and your WKU NetID credentials. However, if you have the login page bookmarked, you will need to change your bookmark once we switch to v10 on September 16, 2014.
- Do I have to republish my content?
No. We will be republishing everything on September 16, 2014. We will republish the last published version of the page - not the last saved version.
It is important to note that all pages that have NEVER been published, and only exist in the staging server WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED. If you have deleted from production, but it still exists in staging - IT WILL BE PUBLISHED. This may require you to delete pages from production on September 17, 2014.

- Are the templates changing?
No, the templates will look and function just as they do now. This upgrade is to the interface we use to manage our content - not to the actual design of WKU's site.
- What are the major differences between v9 and v10?
