Settings

Your news page has several settings that you can modify.  These settings effect how your articles are displayed on your site.

Edit Settings
  1. From the My News list - click on the Edit News Edit News icon next to the news page you would like to edit the settings for.
  2. Make changes to any of the settings (see Explanation of Fields below).
  3. After completing your changes, click the Update News button at the bottom of the form.

Explanation of Fields

Show Archive Link on Main Page - Determines if the article archive link shows up in the right column.

Show Return Link on Archive Page - Determines if the "Return to News" link is displayed when viewing the archive.

Show Expired Articles in Archive - Determines if expired articles show up in the archive.  Expired articles will never show up in the main list - but this allows them to still be viewed in the archive.

Number of Articles to Archive - Determines the number of articles that are saved in the archive.

Archive Articles per Page - Determines the maximum number of articles to be displayed per page in the archive.

Archive Title - Determines the text used above the list of archived articles.

Custom CSS - this field allows you to add CSS styles to your news to override the current styles.  You should NOT use the <style> tags around your CSS.  It is recommended that you view the source of your current news page to see the divs and their classes used to create the news.  You can then override the classes by redefining them in this field.
