Calendar Events

This tutorial will show you how to manage your calendar's events.

Events

Your calendar can have any number of events.  Each event can be placed in any number of categories in your calendar.


Add New Event
  1. From the My Calendars list - click on the Manage Calendar EventsCalendar Event icon next to the calendar you would like to add the events to.
  2. Click the Add Event Add Categorylink at the top of the Events list.
  3. Fill out the fields in the form for the new event.
  4. After completing the form, click the Add Event button at the bottom of the form.

Edit Existing Event
  1. From the My Calendars list - click on the Manage Calendar EventsCalendar Event icon next to the calendar you would like to edit the events for.
  2. Click the Edit Editicon next to the event you would like to edit.
  3. From the edit screen, modify the fields you would like to change.
  4. After completing the form, click the Update Event button at the bottom of the form.

Copy Existing Event
  1. From the My Calendars list - click on the Manage Calendar EventsCalendar Event icon next to the calendar you would like to edit the events for.
  2. Click the Copy Copy Eventicon next to the event you would like to copy.
  3. From the copy screen, choose up to 10 dates you would like to copy the event to.  If you need to copy it to more than 10 different dates, perform your copy and return to this screen.
  4. After completing the form, click the Copy Event button at the bottom of the form.

Delete Existing Event
  1. From the My Calendars list - click on the Manage Calendar EventsCalendar Event icon next to the calendar you would like to edit the events for.
  2. From the Manage Events list - click on the DeleteDelete Site Icon
  3. You will be asked for confirmation.  Click Yes if you are sure you want to delete the event.
