City Year

City Year is an education-focused, national organization that unites young people of all backgrounds for a year of full-time service to keep students in school and on track to graduation. At City Year’s twenty-one locations across the United States, teams of diverse young people called “corps members” serve full-time in schools for ten months working to improve student attendance, behavior, and course performance in English and math. As tutors, mentors and role models, corps members are uniquely able to help students and schools succeed through academic support, behavioral encouragement, and community and school improvements.
