Lifeguarding Class

This three day American Red Cross (ARC) Lifeguarding class will begin on Friday at 4:00 pm and continue through Sunday evening. This course will go over all ARC guildlines and protocols. After successful completion of this class, participants will be certified ARC Lifeguards. The prerequisite skills are as follows:
-15 years of age
-300 yard swim (100 free, 100 breast, 100 free/breast)
-start in water, swim 20 yards to a 10 pound diving brick, surface dive to 13 feet, retrieve brick and swim back the 20 yards to side of pool, remove the brick and yourself without the use of a ladder/steps in under 1 minute and 40 seconds.
No refunds are given to those who fail the prerequisite. Practice and train prior to signing up for the class.
Friday- 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday- 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday- 9 a.m. to evening
