Web-based courses are usually semester-based, but may have different start and end dates. You should check the syllabus carefully. Western Kentucky University's Schedule of Classes is so good at giving you the most up-to-date information about our web course offerings that we are going to direct you there. The Campus code VU means that the course is offered through Kentucky Virtual Campus and you should check the KYVC website ( http://www.kyvc.org ) for registration information.

| Availability |

The online programs listed above may not be 100% online. Some may include ITV courses, correspondence study, and face-to-face courses. Please check the information carefully, contact the program coordinator, and think about your options carefully. You may be able to take most of the program either online or by ITV and take some of the credits locally or from another institution online and then transfer those credits to WKU (see section below). We are continuing to developing these programs and new ones, so please check back, and contact us if you have questions. The general education requirements that we do not offer may be transferred in from another accredited program with the approval of your advisor and department.
|
| Transferring |
| |
If you would like to transfer credits to WKU, you can go to Topnet, then click on Admissions, Transferring your Credits, Transfer Credit Equivalency, and then Transfer Credit Equivalency again, and do your own transcript evaluation. When you apply for admission to WKU, your transcript will be formally evaluated and you will receive a report of exactly which of your courses will transfer and under what categories. To apply for admission, go to http://www.wku.edu/Info/Admissions
