Welcome to our Virtual Orientation!
This orientation will provide you with the information you will need as a new distance learning student. You will be introduced to the electronic resources available to you, such as Webmail, TopNet, Blackboard, etc. You will also be able to find some ideas on how to be a successful learner during your time as distance learning student.
You can access this orientation site at any time and in the order you choose, but if you are a new student it is best to visit the Getting Started pages first.
As an online student, you will be able to control when and where you become involved in your learning process. You will need to commit to your class and be very conscientious in the way you deal with your assignments, manage your time, and keep in touch with your professor and your classmates. |
