Undergraduate Certificate in Computer Literacy
The undergraduate certificate in Computer Literacy may be earned as a stand-alone certificate or as part of your undergraduate degree program. The certificate provides the necessary skills for software use and the Internet. Students will gain the knowledge and skills that will help them become confident computer users. The emphasis will be on the practical application of computers.
Program Requirements
The undergraduate certificate in Computer Literacy requires 12 credit hours (four courses):
- CSCI 145C - Introduction to Computing
- Select one of the following (courses listed below reflect online options only):
- OST 220C: Word Processing
- INS 270C: Electronic Spreadsheets
- INS 275C: Web Page Design
- INS 285C: Advanced Software Applications
- Any advisor-approved upper division elective
