• Financial Incentive - Each instructor that develops a new online course can earn up to $2,500 per course. The instructor will receive $1,500 when the course is offered the first time, $500 at the end of the term and an additional $500 the next time the course is offered. This payment can be taken as a stipend or can be deposited into a professional development account. Classification as a new online course means that there is no course contract on file with the Office of Distance Learning, and that the course is being newly developed.
