Blackboard (Bb) is the course delivery software used in most online courses at WKU. This training will take you through the basics of using Blackboard. You can move at your own pace and review any sections as needed. This training covers the following topics:
- Assessments
- Assignments
- Blogs
- Chat/Collaboration
- Checking Grades
- Discussion Board
- Groups
- My Files
- Portfolios
- Wikis
Please note that not all instructors use all of the features covered in this course. However, most instructors use a Faculty or Staff Information button, located in the course menu, to provide contact information for students.
Much of the material in this course is presented in short Flash videos. You will need to have the Flash Player installed in your browser to complete this course. If you are not sure if the Flash player is installed on your PC, click this link. You can install the Flash Player by going to the Adobe website.
