The B.S. in Health Sciences with a concentration in Environmental Health Science is designed to educate students in preparation for an exciting career in the environmental health science. The EHS Program is committed to providing south central Kentucky, the state, and the nation with entry-level environmental professionals. The program is built upon a sound foundation of providing students with a background in assessing environmental resources, including water, air, and land resources, in relation to environmental and human health.
This program can be completed in two ways:
- Students who hold an associate degree in health science may complete the degree entirely online with proper planning at the associate degree level. While the program lists CHEM 304 as a requirement, they will substitute an upper-level Chemistry course for this requirement, provided you have taken CHEM 109 or the equivalent at the associate degree level.
- Students who do not have an associate degree, but desire a program with additional flexibility may combine web offerings with face-to-face classes to complete the degree. This program is currently 75% online.
