Global Encounters is a compiled list of campus events that cultivate international education, awareness, and cultural exchange.
International Reach Week (September 24th-29th)
WKU's Office of International Programs (OIP) announces its second annual International Reach Week, set to take place during the last week in September (24-29). The week-long series of events is designed to spotlight the many ways in which our faculty, staff, and students are helping to make WKU "a leading American university with international reach".
Bowling Green International Festival (September 29th)
The Last Saturday in September each year, beautiful Circus Square Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky becomes an International Paradise of nationalities coming together to proudly share their unique cultures. The festival is a traditional celebration that honors the heritage and diversity among our residents through music, dance, demonstrations, authentic foreign foods, edu-tainment activities, cultural displays and an international bazaar.

Talk on Fridays
Talk on Fridays is designed to provide an opportunity for American and international
students to converse in English and learn about culture in a relaxed environment.
All are welcome, please feel free to invite your friends and family members!
