2013 Faculty Awards Reception April 4

The 2013 Faculty Awards Reception will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday (April 4) at the Faculty House. WKU annually recognizes outstanding contributions by faculty members in the areas of Teaching, Research/Creativity, Public Service, and Student Advisement.  The following faculty members have been selected by each of the colleges for awards this year.  They are also the finalists for the university-wide awards, which will be announced at Commencement.

University College

  • Mr. Rick Thompson (Academic Support) – Teaching Award
  • Dr. Courte Voorhees (Diversity & Community Studies) – Research/Creativity Award
  • Ms. Michelle Hollis (Academic Support) – Public Service Award
