Bio

Mrs. Wooden holds a Masters of Science (MSN) degree from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelors of Science (BSN) from the University of Kentucky. Since beginning her nursing career she has held many clinical positions, from Active duty Air Force Nurse to medical surgical, obstetrics, orthopedics, OR, cardiac cath, school nurse and case management.  Mrs. Wooden’s teaching experience includes FMC staff educator for the USAF, Medical Surgical Nursing and Family Maternal Care Instructor for New Mexico State University, community health classes as Holloman AFB’s Family Nurse Specialist and LPNII Instructor at Lafayette School of Nursing in Williamsburg, Virginia from 2005 to 2013.   She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nurses, National League for Nursing and the American Nurses Association. In her spare time she enjoys exercising, playing the piano and spending time with her husband Dave and two sons, Scott and Jarrod.
