I was really anxious coming to college, because my sister is a child prodigy. We went
to the same high school, and I had always been McKenzie’s little sister. I was so
scared I was going to come here and hear the same thing. Fortunately, it’s been so
easy to make my own path here, and it’s been very eye opening to get out of my small
town and be around different people.
WKU has a beautiful campus. There’s anything and everything here to be involved in. It’s so easy to find your group of people here. I feel like that’s something that’s very unique to WKU, because there’s so many different types of people and it’s easy to find where you fit in. I feel like nobody is an outsider, and everyone has their group. I’m in a sorority, Omega Phi Alpha. I’m also a member of the Honor College, the Honors Club, the Dynamic Leadership Institute, and I work at the WKU Store.
I feel like campus is very inviting to families and WKU makes it very easy for your family to stay involved. My family is huge, so it was very important to me that my parents can always come down and be part of WKU activities.
