Family Fun Festival Saturday At Clinical Education Complex

Bowling Green, Ky. - The Suzanne Vitale Clinical Education Complex at Western Kentucky University will host a Family Fun Festival on Saturday, Oct. 24. The family-oriented event will offer an opportunity for families to meet other families, therapists, volunteers, professionals and local resource providers.
           
Opening ceremonies begin at 10 a.m. at the CEC, 104 14th St. in Bowling Green, followed by planned segments every 30 minutes until 2 p.m. Events include story time from the Warren County Public Library and performances by BG Rockerz Dance Team, Music and Movement with Vicki Beach and Kids on the Block.
           
Other activities include inflatable games, face painting, door prizes, a petting zoo, car seat safety inspections and information tables.
           
The CEC offers a variety of services for area families and provides a learning environment for students enrolled in early childhood education, exceptional education, social work, family counseling and communication disorders at WKU. Tours will be conducted throughout the event.
           
The CEC offers the Acquired Brain Injury Resource, the Communication Disorders Clinic, the Early Childhood Center (Big Red School), the Family Counseling Clinic, the Family Resource Program and the Kelly Autism Program.
