Bowling
Green, Ky. - Twenty-seven members of the Western Kentucky University Forensic Team traveled to Bowling Green, Ohio, and Peoria, Ill., during the weekend of Feb. 28-March 1.
Fourteen members of the WKU team swept the Bowling Green State University tournament, followed by Eastern Michigan University and University of Akron.
Individual results for the Bowling Green State University Tournament are as follows:
Ethan Millspaugh, a sophomore from Coppell, Texas, tournament champion in programmed oral interpretation, tournament champion in communication analysis and tournament champion in duo interpretation (with Chelsea Harman) in the BGSU portion; second in programmed oral interpretation, second in communication analysis and fifth in duo interpretation (with Chelsea Harman) in the Miami portion.
Chelsea Harman, a sophomore from Hickory, tournament champion in dramatic interpretation and tournament champion in duo interpretation (with Ethan Millspaugh) in the BGSU portion; tournament champion in informative speaking, third in dramatic interpretation and fifth in duo interpretation (with Ethan Millspaugh) in the Miami portion.
Colby Holt, a sophomore from Paducah, tournament champion in programmed oral interpretation and tournament champion in duo interpretation (with Samantha Harrison) in the Miami portion; second in programmed oral interpretation, second in duo interpretation (with Chelsea Harman) and fifth in informative speaking in the BGSU portion.
Ashley Litsey, a senior from Hodgenville, tournament champion in poetry interpretation and third in prose interpretation in the BGSU portion; tournament champion in poetry interpretation in the Miami portion.
Samantha Harrison, a junior from Carrollton, Texas, tournament champion in duo interpretation (with Colby Holt), third in persuasive speaking and sixth in prose interpretation in the Miami portion; second in prose interpretation, second in persuasive speaking, and second in duo interpretation (with Colby Holt) in the BGSU portion.
Katie Nedvidek, a junior from Danville, tournament champion in informative speaking and second in communication analysis in the BGSU portion; fourth in informative speaking and fourth in communication analysis in the Miami portion.
Celena Allen, a freshman from Hayward, Calif., tournament champion in dramatic interpretation in the Miami portion; third in dramatic interpretation in the BGSU portion.
Mario Nguyen, a freshman from Plano, Texas, tournament champion in impromptu speaking and fifth in persuasive speaking in the Miami portion.
Desiree Guerrero, a sophomore from Fullerton, Calif., second in after-dinner speaking and third in communication analysis in the BGSU portion; second in after-dinner speaking in the Miami portion.
Rob Strobel, a sophomore from Lexington, second in impromptu speaking in the Miami portion; third in extemporaneous speaking and fourth in informative speaking in the BGSU portion.
Corey Gomez, a freshman from Newark, Calif., second in dramatic interpretation in the Miami portion; fourth in dramatic interpretation in the BGSU portion.
Joshua Harzman, a sophomore from Salina, Kan., second in persuasive speaking in the Miami portion; sixth in persuasive speaking in the BGSU portion.
Taron Grizzell, a freshman from Union City, Calif., second in dramatic interpretation in the BGSU portion.

Kelly Lootz, a sophomore from Plymouth, Massachusetts, tournament champion in programmed oral interpretation in the Bradley portion; tournament champion in programmed oral interpretation in the ISU portion.
