WKU Yearbook Finalist For Collegiate Crown Award

Green, Ky. - The Columbia Scholastic Press Association has named The Talisman, Western Kentucky University’s yearbook, a Collegiate Crown finalist.
The Talisman is one of nine finalists. The award, either a Gold Crown or Silver Crown, will be presented March 15 in New York City.
Julie Kish, a photojournalism graduate from Mt. Juliet, Tenn., was the 2008 Talisman editor. Meg Fenton, a photojournalism graduate from Louisville, was photo editor. Co-advisers for the 2008 Talisman were Bob Adams and Katie Clark. Fran Gardler was photo adviser.
Other yearbook finalists are Aggieland, Texas A&M University; Agromeck, North Carolina State University; Arbutus, Indiana University; Ibis, University of Miami; Royal Purple, Kansas State University; Selah, Liberty University; Sooner/Crimson Traditions, University of Oklahoma; and The Razorback, University of Arkansas.
