September 10, 2008

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University’s Political Engagement Project continues its “Get on the Bus: Forty Years of Political Activism” theme during Constitution Week Sept. 15-19.

John D. Minton Jr., chief justice of the Kentucky Supreme Court, will deliver the Constitution Day keynote address on Sept. 17. Minton will discuss “Public Access to the Courts” at 12:45 p.m. at Mass Media and Technology Hall Auditorium.

Students will have several civic engagement opportunities during Constitution Week, including lectures, film presentations, art exhibits and a voter registration drive.
