Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University will recognize its top volunteers, alumni chapters and alumni Oct. 30 at the annual Summit Awards.
Distinguished Service Medals to recognize the service of the University’s top three volunteers will be presented to Tom Caudill of Lexington, John Oldham of Bowling Green and Dave Roberts of Owensboro.
Drew Byers of Bowling Green is the Young Alumnus of the Year and Terry Parker of Versailles is the Alumnus of the Year.
The Summit Awards will be presented at the Knicely Conference Center at WKU’s South Campus as part of Homecoming week activities. The event begins with a reception at 6 p.m. and the awards program at 6:30 p.m. To attend the Summit Awards, contact the Alumni Office at (270) 745-4395.
The Greater Louisville, Warren County, Barren County, Tampa Bay, Music City, Central Kentucky, Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati, Heartland, Muhlenberg County alumni chapters will be recognized as Chapters of Distinction for their efforts in organizing alumni events, community service projects, student recruitment and special events.
