WKU, National City Award Incentive Scholarships

Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University and National City on Thursday announced the four recipients of the National City Harman and Potter Incentive Scholarships for 2008.
The four-year renewable tuition scholarships are designated for a graduating senior in each of the four high schools in Bowling Green and Warren County. The scholarships were first awarded in the fall of 1986.
The 2008 recipients recognized Thursday at the Kentucky Building are:
*Brittney Joiner of Warren Central High School. She is the daughter of Granvell and Brenda Pierce and plans to major in pre-medicine.
*Lauren Mahaney of Warren East High School. She is the daughter of Terry and Tammie Mahaney and plans to major in nursing.
*Klenton Palmer of Greenwood High School. He is the son of Darrell and Linda Palmer and plans to major in business.
*Jordan Williams of Bowling Green High School. He is the son of John and Beth Williams and plans to major in pre-law.
