Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University will host the Barren River Mental Health and Aging Coalition 2008 Conference on May 20.
The conference will be at the Downing University Center and begins at 8:30 a.m. with a keynote address from Dr. Dana Bradley, the Clifford Todd Distinguished Professor of Gerontology at WKU. Dr. Bradley’s address will be “What we don’t know will hurt them: Insights into the ‘New Old.’”
The conference is designed to discuss current social, legal, educational and health care issues relating to mental health and aging, both for professional and non-professional caregivers.
The South Central Kentucky Area Health Education Center will provide continuing education units for participants.
