Bowling
Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University’s Department of Modern Languages will have a reception on March 25 to honor three visiting scholars.
The reception, which will be 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in room 240 of the Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center, will honor Weiming Huang, Ricardo Marin and Scott Seeger.
Huang is visiting from China and is teaching Chinese 101. She arrived in February and will leave in May. She teaches English in China.
Marin is visiting from Albacete, Spain, and is teaching a special course on the Spanish Civil War. He arrived in January and will leave in May.
Seeger is visiting from Kansas and is teaching all levels of German with a special area of research in Low German. He arrived in August and will leave in the summer.
