Invited guests will join with WKU students in recognizing nonprofit organizations and philanthropic businesses. In addition, the students will be announcing their community service partner for the 2008-2009 academic year.

This event, modeled after a similar program at Western Michigan University, is being developed with following four goals: (a) honor and promote nonprofit excellence in the local community, (b) further professional relationships between nonprofit organizations and businesses, (c) provide students with the experience of organizing an event, and (d) fundraise to offset student travel expenses for the American Humanics national management institute.
