Green, Ky. - The International Debate Education Association and The National Junior Forensic League will be co-hosting their annual national middle school forensic tournament June 27-29 on the campus of Western Kentucky University.
Approximately 300 students and 85 coaches and parents from 24 schools, including Kentucky, Texas, New Jersey, California, Missouri and Saipan, will attend the tournament.
The tournament is open to students in sixth through eighth grade who compete in nine events such as debate, interpretation of literature and extemporaneous speaking.
