Bowling Green, Ky. - The 2008 Appraisal Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at The Kentucky Library & Museum on the campus of Western Kentucky University.

Professional appraisers will be on hand to discuss and value items, from Depression glass to family heirlooms to unidentified items. There is a suggested donation of $5 for the first two items appraised and $5 for each additional item. Early Birds are welcome from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and the suggested donation during that hour will be $10.

“I love seeing what people bring, from the very valuable to the everyday,” said Timothy Mullin, head of Library and Museum Special Collections. “You never know what you’re going to see.”
