Sara Miller served as the WKU AMHI student representative and Annie Farris was an invited panel member discussing her recent internship experience.

Students, faculty, and nonprofit and corporate leaders, took part in this unique opportunity to network, participate in simulated case studies and a national collegiate dialogue, and attend workshops led by local and national experts in nonprofit management. This educational symposium is considered the capstone professional development experience for students enrolled in the American Humanics nonprofit management program, Dr. Poff said. It is held annually during the first week in January and rotates to a different city each year; next year’s institute will be held in Indianapolis, Ind.
