Green, Ky. - The annual Macy’s Used Book Sale will be held Feb. 8-10 at the Historic L&N Depot.
Proceeds from the used book sale benefit the Southern Kentucky Book Fest partnership and area literacy projects.
“We are thrilled that Macy’s is again sponsoring this worthwhile event that benefits so many local reading programs and author visits to our area,” says Jerald Manning, general manager of Macy’s department store in Bowling Green.
Donations of books, videos, CDs, DVDs and audio books for the book sale can be made at Macy’s or the Bowling Green Public Library main branch until Feb. 4. Donations are tax deductible. Magazines and textbooks are not accepted.
Sale hours are: 7 a.m.- 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8; 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9; and 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10. The SOKY Book Fest partnership includes Western Kentucky University Libraries, Bowling Green Public Library and Barnes & Noble Booksellers.
